
Iain began his healthcare career as an intensive care nurse, providing critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions in the UK and Australia. Transitioning into dentistry, he has worked in general practice as well as undergoing extensive hospital training in the oral and maxillofacial departments in Poole, Dundee, Exeter and Barnstaple.
He has worked for several years in an acute hospital setting managing patients with acute dental pathology, trauma, orthodontic surgery, cancer and oral disease. Whilst in Devon he also managed referrals from the NHS 111 service - triaging and treating patients with acute dental problems.
Iain currently works part time as a clinical lecturer in oral surgery at Queen Mary University, whilst also working at Billingshurst dental practice as a general dental practitioner. Having completed a postgraduate diploma in Implant Prosthodontics, Iain has a special interest in oral surgery and implantology.
Living in London, in his spare time Iain enjoys travelling, yoga, eating out and learning new skills. He is currently learning Spanish!
